My mission, inspiration and drive is to help my clients to live a more optimal and efficient lifestyle and continuing to do the things that they love and enjoy by helping to alleviate pain so that they "do not feel pain" and that I give them the educational tools and the self care knowledge to be able to treat their own muscular tension, injuries, pain and ailments. Knowledge combined with application gives you the power to heal your own body.
Having been in a lot of pain both physically and emotionally in her life, I know personally what it is like to be in pain and to live in a life while suffering and struggling with the pain, anxiety and depression.
That is why, through my body work, massage therapy, acupressure and orthopedic work, I aim to help take away the pain of others through the healing power of touch and advanced massage therapy modalities.
My personal and professional mission and purpose here at Indigo Body Massage is to provide my clients with exceptional and unique "pain relieving" body work using the vehicles of orthopedic massage modalities, acupressure, and myoskeletal alignment therapy.
I am very conscientious, goal-oriented and results driven, using integrative therapies to achieve my clients' desired goals. My body work goals are focused on the health and well-being of our clients, and to provide individuals with the tools necessary to be able to live a sustainable, pain-free, and healthy lifestyle while performing at optimal levels. (And feeling GREAT!)
I am also very committed and dedicated to providing our clients with detailed, CUSTOMIZED and nurturing treatments. Every body is unique and different, therefore so should your orthopedic massage and body work sessions and your treatment plans.
I am extremely passionate and relentless about the unlimited healing powers of massage therapy its potential to help others realize their own self-healing capabilities and potential.
"My belief is that this is my purpose and my calling while I am here to help, heal, and empower others with my gift of touch. That is why I am always developing my skill to be of more benefit and more efficient for those that come to me. Through my work I serve my higher purpose because I believe that "to heal is to serve." And it is strong to serve.
I have devoted my life and my work in massage therapy to that very philosophy. It is my own personal journey that I use for growth and what fuels and drives me on a daily and consistent basis to become a better therapist and a better person.
I originally found massage therapy when it healed my own body and mind from injuries, surgeries, accidents and other traumatic experiences over the years which has made me who I am. These life shaping occurrences confirmed my purpose of helping others to achieve the same benefits from massage therapy. Practicing orthopedic massage therapy and acupressure is my sanctuary and guiding force; It focuses my energy allowing me to show kindness to others through touch and by taking away their pain.
I am originally from East Texas near Tyler and moved to Austin nine years ago from North Houston. Graduating from Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage program and dedicating my life and my practice o the healing art, I found my calling in helping others to heal their bodies, minds and souls from chronic pain, stress, depression, injuries and surgeries. In my spare time when I am not working with clients or running my business, I very much enjoy weight training, running, yoga and pilates and walking my energetic dogs.
